Queues are created automatically when a task is deployed, but there's no way to remove one afterward. If a task is deleted from the code, or a queue is renamed, the old queue stays on the Queues page indefinitely.
With enough of these, the list gets noisy and it's harder to see the queues that are actually active. The search box helps, but you have to already know what you're looking for.
